Join us on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at The Jazz Room in Waterloo (7-9 pm) for a casual evening of music, appetizers, and good company, as we celebrate the connections in our lives. Dinner and beverages also available for purchase. Hosted by Shalom Counselling Services, with Jazz music by Willem Moolenbeek, Laura Moolenbeek, Graham Steinman, and Mark Spagnolo.
Willem Moolenbeek has been a long time fixture in the regional music scene, performing on saxophone with bands, orchestras and choirs. He continues to teach as part of the music faculty of the University of Waterloo's Conrad Grebel University College. He is delighted to share the stage with his daughter and her colleagues.
Laura Moolenbeek performs in and around KW with a number of groups. She is currently in her second year of music at Wilfrid Laurier University, specializing in Community Music and Vocals. She is looking forward to performing with Graham, Mark and her Dad.
Mark Spagnolo is an upright and electric bassist who has played in multiple musical ensembles ranging vastly in genre. He is currently the first year music student representative for the MSA at the University of Guelph where he is studying music.
Graham Steinman is a guitarist studying music with a concentration in jazz at the University of Guelph. He has performed in various ensembles around Guelph, and has written and produced two short albums under his own name.
